Early 21st century humans were on the cusp of a lot more than people realized. Working brain technology interfaces, functional robot limbs, printing flash-cloned organs... really, all the current versions need is a bit of tweaking to make them more efficient and marketable.
(Though all these things would likely require tears of testing before seeing actual use. Still, it would be worth it to get some stuff started.

That's... really neat, actually. I wouldn't expect the idea that we were close to anything like that, technologically. Really gives you hope for the future and stuff, even with the Entities hanging overhead.

I don't really think I'm an expert. And it's not like I can predict the future.

Something more information-minded? Like the Web, or the Eye. But I guess ADI has always been more about in-person investigation and getting into things than pure study.
I don't know... ADI has never seemed into collecting information for information's sake. It's always been for a larger goal.

I guess I didn't think the Hunt had so much planning. Or well, organized research and complex plans. But I guess it is more of a... spectrum, of what can be what, than it is a formal designation of sorts.
Alright. So what sort of behaviors would you consider more normal for the Hunt, then?
I dunno, just more... animal-like. Savage, I suppose. Attacks for reasons and opportunity, not a long-term plan. Just feels too... delayed gratification or something. Does that make sense? I wasn't really thinking there'd be a lot of patience there.
Hunting isn't all just animals chasing each other. Humans can spend days setting up traps or waiting for an opportunity to strike.
If the Hunt also covers the pursuit of goals in general, then there's probably a lot of planning that goes on under that umbrella.

I don't think it covers any and all planning, that's too broad. Especially if you're taking action due to a different fear or concern, or for another reason, like trying to find an answer to something. But I do see where the overlap is.
